I love this boy so much. Totally lost him at the end when he saw his mat outside the ring though. Oh the power of classical conditioning is my downfall! :-)

Congrats to Fly!

Fly and I had a wonderful time at our first trial of the year! We absolutely love the Monadnock Canine Academy trials, they are friendly, efficient, and FUN! I can't wait until our next trial in June!

Anyways, onto the brags of the weekend! Fly qualified in 7 of the 8 runs we had. She scored our highest run ever with a 207 (and 5th place) and a 202 in Level 2 (also with a 5th place)!! Our goal for the weekend was to start picking up ARCH legs and points! (Little did I know we'd already begun accumulating points last year.)

Saturday was spectacular earning us 2 ARCH legs and 21 points. Sunday we missed out on the legs, but still earned 15 points. All total now we have 2 (out of 5 legs) and 69 (out of 100) points!

On top of working our way towards the grand ARCH title, we also snatched up 4 (out of 10) legs towards our RL1X2 title, and 3 (out of 10) legs towards our RL2X title!

And to end the weekend in style, we earned 5th place High Combined Dog of the Weekend with 793 (out of 840 possible) points! It was a great honor to be named among the other teams competing that weekend!

This run makes me sad. She'd been scoring in the high 200's up until this run. Something clearly has her stressed.
